To begin with, it is necessary to determine the shape, which may be different, but it should be remembered that oval, round, rectangular, teardrop-shaped or slightly curved ponds with smoothed corners look better, besides they are easier to build. The size of the reservoir must be determined in advance, as this will be useful when buying a film.

The device of the reservoir begins with marking its contours. When the banks are marked, the turf is cut inside the outline of the reservoir and a pit of a given depth is dug. If the banks are too steep, it is necessary to make 1-2 ledges. The bottom and walls of the pit are leveled. Be sure to choose all sharp objects: stones, sticks, thick roots, especially glass.
